Another fantastic Trophy Race - 192 racers competing in 40 teams from 12 clubs, plus 12 custodians racing. And the prizegiving and afterparty were as memorable as ever!! Thanks to Todd and Dirk for the great photos.

A small group of our more senior members enjoyed SENIORS’ WEEK with good skiing Wed., Thurs. and Friday and a party on Tuesday night 21st August with a great dinner prepared by our Custodian/Chef David.

Hope you guys are well, I shall miss you this season as I train up to be a ski patroller down here in Wanaka. On my way through I spent an exciting week in Alta, Utah. It will be a while until the snow arrives here, but very busy on pre-hospital emergency care, weather forecasting and tying knots with gloves on! Managed to come second in the fitness tests, so there is hope for us old buggers yet :-)

Another week of fun for older members who enjoyed excellent weather for the whole week.

3 absolutely miserable days which we skied in anyway and one absolute pearler. Will definitely do it again next year - not to be missed by anyone.

Big dump of snow on Friday night so some of us skied behind cars in the field out the back of the lodge (and not necessarily were they people from our lodge) The scenery in the morning was amazing.

Repairing the tank walls and lining the underfloor with expol insulation.

Another enjoyable week for our more senior members with good skiing, great party and relaxation - in that order.

Some of the more senior members again enjoyed a great week, highlighted by a "French Night" on Wednesday 19th August.

With the mountain open 5 days in a row Monday to Friday "Seniors Week" skiers had no rest days. Unbelievable weather and the best snow for years!

Simon and Garfunkel made a comeback at the Ohakune Lodge - as did a few intersting items of clothing! See what the hippies got up to...

On 28 July 2007 members staying at the Ohakune lodge got out the glad rags, revealed hidden poker talents and gambled the night away...

They may remember when Elvis was King but some of our "senior" members still know how to let their hair down...

The rules were simple. Start the evening wearing one item of clothing of each of the six colours of the Rubicks Cube. By the end of the night be wearing all one colour. The result was a barrel of laughs! and here is the photographic evidence...
